MFM Research Lab

Structural market analysis beyond the chart

The MFM Research Lab is a standalone analysis environment built around the principles of the Market Framework Model.
The Research Lab expands the MFM-framework into a dedicated research and interpretation environment.
The objective is not to generate trading signals, the objective is to explore, validate and interpret market structure through a consistent multi-layer framework.

Why the Research Lab?

  • Markets generate enormous amounts of information.
  • Most tools focus on indicators, signals or forecasts.
  • The MFM Research Lab focuses on context.
  • By combining multiple layers of market structure into a single environment, the Research Lab helps users study how markets organize themselves through phases, regimes and relative strength relationships.
  • The goal is understanding before action.

Development Preview

Early preview of the MFM Research Lab. The platform combines price structure, momentum phases, regime analysis and benchmark comparison within a single research environment.

Core Components

Regime

Identifies the higher-timeframe environment.
Bullish, bearish or neutral structural conditions are determined through momentum relationships rather than price alone.

Phase

Tracks the internal rhythm of the market.

  • Phase 1 — Exhaustion
  • Phase 2 — Rotation
  • Phase 3 — Recovery

These phases describe how momentum reorganizes over time.

Cross-Asset Analysis

Compares assets against benchmarks.
The framework identifies whether an asset behaves as a leader or lagger within the current environment.

Scenario Engine

Converts structural observations into contextual interpretations.
Instead of generating buy or sell recommendations, the engine describes the market environment through predefined structural scenarios.

AI-Assisted Interpretation

Future versions will include AI-supported interpretation based on the MFM framework.
The purpose is to explain structure, not predict outcomes.

Current Development Status

The Research Lab is currently under active development.

Planned functionality includes:

✓ Interactive charting

✓ Regime and Phase analysis

✓ Cross-asset benchmarking

✓ Structural scenario engine

✓ PDF reporting

✓ AI-assisted interpretation

◻ Advanced statistical modules

◻ Multi-asset comparison workspace

◻ Research database integration

Design Philosophy

The Research Lab follows the same principles as the Market Framework Model itself:

  • Context before signals
  • Structure before prediction
  • Interpretation before action

The objective is to help users understand what the market is doing before deciding what to do about it.
